Please make sure the PTO & MONITOR OFF Locate the 2 lights on the individual blue wing sensors. Green light = 24vdc power to Sensor Amber lights = signal being sent to comp. (Sensor light will not show green on the monitor.)
Look at the sensor, check to make sure the amber light is on. If it is, the corresponding wing light on the Zapper monitor should be Green. If the sensors amber light is on and no green light on monitor check wires/pins.
If the sensors amber light is not on with wings down in field position check the sensor placement. Moving sensor closer to the center of the boom increases sensitivity, moving it closer to wing hinge point decreases sensitivity. (Sensor light will not go red on monitor)
Make sure the wing cylinder stops are down (field mode) contacting the cylinder rams.
Raise the booms until they contact the cylinder stops. Lock valve to keep wings up while working on the boom.
Check to make sure both wing Sensor amber lights are OFF. If either amber light is on, check for hoses etc… that are in close proximity to the sensor. Move them away from the Sensor and see if the amber light goes off when they are moved. If nothing is close to the sensor try unplugging it and check the monitor for red/green lights.
If the amber light is off the corresponding wing light on the Zapper monitor should be Red. If the amber light is off but the monitor shows green check wiring or Sensor.
A spare speed sensor can be plugged into the wing port on the harness for testing purposes. If the sensor lights are on the corresponding monitor light should be green.
