PLC, Expansion Modules and Battery Instructions These parts are located inside the control panel on the right hand side of the cart. Before servicing these parts, shut off the tractor and remove the key!
Open the control panel and take a picture for future reference.
The PLC and all modules related to it are located in the upper RIGHT corner of the control panel.
There are removable BLACK plugs at the top and bottom of the PLC. DO NOT remove individual wires, instead pull on the left end of the plug and then the right end to remove the entire plug from its socket.
On the right side of the PLC there is an expansion module (2019 & 2020 models have 2). It has a vertical row of wires that are also in a BLACK plug. Pull on the top of the plug and then the bottom to remove the vertical plug from its socket.
Located at the bottom left rear corner of the Main PLC body is a clear plastic, hinged lever. Hook your finger on the bottom, back of that lever and pull towards you. This will eject the power plug from its socket.
Next there are BLACK tabs that look like trailer D rings on the very bottom back (closest to the aluminum panel) of the PLC and each Expansion module. Using a small screwdriver or pick pull down on the rings until you hear a “click”. This releases the bottom of the parts from the “Rail” that they hang on.
Gently pull outward on the bottom of the PLC about 1″. Now lift up and out on the parts to remove them.
When looking at the front of the parts, notice the vertical seam between the main PLC body and the Expansion module body. On the very bottom of the parts beside the seam, there is a small BLACK button. Push up on that button until you hear a “click”, now the button should be flush with the bottom.
The Expansion module is now released from the main PLC body. Pull it apart at the top 1st to remove it from its socket.
Reinstall all parts in reverse order.
Review the photo that was taken to make sure all parts and plugs are in the correct place and not loose or only partially engaged. Check all SWITCHES are in the up or on position.
