Our Story
From Humble Beginnings to Industry Innovators
Our story begins in 2015, when two brothers from Illinois, both with engineering and farming backgrounds, founded The Weed Zapper. Inspired by their experiences in their family's conventional and organic farming operations, they saw the urgent need for an alternative to chemical herbicides. The initial goal was straightforward but audacious: develop a technology that could handle both organic weed control and the growing issue of herbicide-resistant weeds.
Fast forward to 2017, the torch was passed on to another set of brothers from Missouri. These siblings weren't just organic farmers but also seasoned professionals in the commercial HVAC and electrical industries. They saw the untapped potential in The Weed Zapper and purchased the technology and prototype.
It was under this new leadership that we launched our flagship product—the Annihilator series. Created in collaboration with Old School Manufacturing, LLC, our models are not only cutting-edge but also made right here in the USA.
